This interactive infographic provides a summary of the proposed changes to the HQM scheme manual. It captures the main types of changes to issues in the scheme manual.

The height of the bar in an issue indicates the extent of the change for that issue. See descriptors below to know what each item listed under Type of Change relates to.

Amended Content: Substantial changes to the criteria, methodology, benchmarks, scope or compliance notes.
Credits Changes: Increase or decrease in the total number of credits available for an issue. In some cases this may relate to a change in the benchmarks.
Issue Restructure: Contents of the issue has been reorganised for clarity and to ensure content is appropriate for the section. This may be either restructuring of content within a section (example regrouping of criteria requirements) or across sections (example compliance notes have been moved into the methodology section or the definition section).
New Content: Introduction of new criteria, methodology, checklist, compliance note, benchmark or definition.
New Minimum requirement / pre-requisite - Introduction of a new minimum requirements or prerequisite in an issue.
Scotland Specific Content - Criteria, methodology, benchmarks, translator curves, compliance note, definition or standards applicable to assessments in Scotland.
Change of Standards - Update or replacement of standards referenced in an issue or introduction of new standards.
Wales Specific Content- Criteria, methodology, benchmarks, translator curves, compliance note, definition or standards applicable to assessments in Wales.
Wording Tweaks - Minor structural changes, wording changes or deletions to aim, benefit, context, criteria, methodology, compliance notes, definitions, evidence requirements or notes to improve clarity.
